For what lies ahead.

An iPhone journal for the months before a marathon. The countdown to race day, every run from Strava, how each one went — and a poster when the prep is done.

Teipa, from taper: the last weeks, when the work settles. For iPhone

A marathon is not a list of workouts.

It is one dated day, and the months you give it. Early alarms. A long run in the rain. Week eleven, when the doubt shows up. Most running apps remember yesterday, or tell you what to run today.

Teipa holds the whole prep — from the day you name the race to the morning you cross the line, and the quiet days after. It doesn't coach you or score you. It keeps the story, and shows you how close the day is.

One prep, start to finish.

Everything in Teipa hangs off a prep: one race, one date, the weeks in between.

The day you sign up

Name the race. The countdown starts.

Distance, date, a goal if you have one, and a cover photo if you want it. That's a prep. Everything you run from here has somewhere to go.

Every morning

The race at the top. The days under it.

Today opens on your race and how far away it is — in weeks, then in days once the taper begins. Below it, the week so far and the last run waiting for a word from you.

  • The countdown is drawn as a line moving toward a point. The point is race day.
  • This week shows kilometres against last week, nothing more.
  • On this day brings back a run from the same date in an earlier year.
After every run

How did it go?

Runs arrive from Strava on their own. You add what the watch can't know: mood, effort, energy, what hurt, what the weather did. One tap is enough. A note is there when you want it.

  • How this compares places each run against your own history of the same kind of session.
  • Sunday reflection asks three questions about the week. Optional, always.
Along the way

A record of the year, not a dashboard.

Progress keeps the last 365 days as a calendar you can read at a glance, your training load over recent weeks, and the milestones you set without trying — longest run, fastest 5K, 10K and half.

Teipa notices them. It doesn't make a fuss about them.

Prep closed. Remember what it took.

After the race, Teipa asks three things before the prep closes: your best workout, the toughest moment, what surprised you. They stay with the prep.

Then the line finishes, the point fills, and the whole prep becomes a poster — the race, your time, the kilometres, every week of the build. Print size or Stories size.

No confetti. The emotion comes from the pause.

One run can be a poster too.

Any single run can leave Teipa as an image — your own photo, the session, and the prep to date underneath. You can export the prep poster before you close it, too.

Your runs come from Strava.

Compatible with Strava

Connect your Strava account once. New activities arrive in Teipa on their own, and you choose which prep each one belongs to. A walk to the shops doesn't have to count.

Teipa only reads. It never posts to Strava, and you can disconnect at any time from Me.

When is your race?

Every prep starts with a date.
